Mouldy wall solution

Have you ever noticed this awful orange mould growing on the walls of new builds? I have been noticing it more and more.

This house in Mere had just such a problem; it was time to investigate!

The walls are made of 'K render' which is plastic based and has the colour ready mixed. They should never need repainting; however, something had to be done with the mould.

The product to use is readily available and the process is relatively simple. The walls are required to be kept damp with the solution and washed with water afterwards. Protective clothing and plant protection is essential. Sorted!
